Updates install automatically. To get the newest one right away, close ChoreStar completely and open it again. You can see which version you have at the bottom of Settings.

- A short “What's new” now appears once on your dashboard after each update, so you don't miss new features. Close it any time — this page always has the full list.
- A What's new link at the bottom of Settings brings you here.
Version 1.2.1.6
- Confirmations and error messages now appear as a banner at the top of the screen — easy to spot, and never hidden behind the keyboard.
Version 1.2.1.5
- Verification codes from our emails now paste straight into the app. The code in the email no longer has spaces between the digits, and the app ignores any that sneak in.
- Sign-in problems, like a wrong password, now show at the top of the screen instead of behind the keyboard.

- Adjust points — give a bonus, or fix a mistake like a reward approved twice, with a note your child can see. Kids tab → Adjust points
- Points stats — a chart of what each child earned and redeemed today, this week and this month. Kids tab → Stats
- Report an issue or request a feature right from Settings — and choose whether we may reply to you about it.
- Settings now shows the exact version of the app you're running.
- Forms now open at the top of the screen, so the keyboard never covers what you're typing.

- Kids now ask a parent for rewards; points are spent only when you approve.
- Daily, weekly and monthly chores reset properly each period — a chore waiting for your approval no longer blocks the next day's.
- Important news, like planned maintenance, now shows in a banner at the top of the app.
- When a newer version is available in the store, the app lets you know.
